The anime has a unique way of mixing comedy with action. In a world where superheroes and martial artists prevail, Saitama, along with his friends, fight for justice against evil.
The One Punch Man world is truly bizarre; it seems like a world which is at constant danger of evil entities trying to take it over and destroy cities. Saitama constantly protects people but never gets recognition. The series chronicles his advancement as a hero, with the hook being that his incredibly powers are widely unknown to people and he’s considered weak by many due to his lack of fame.
Much of One Punch Man is actually focused on the side characters, the other heroes in the world, S Class heroes who are the top tier, trying to overcome various challenges. Meanwhile, Saitama is almost bored because he defeats every enemy with one punch.
