Single’s Inferno

Single’s Inferno is one of the most popular reality dating shows on Netflix. This South Korean show has three seasons so far. The show mixes the ideas of survival shows and fighting for one’s love interest on a deserted island called Inferno. On the island, participants are required to cook their own food, date and win challenges in order to escape the island. They are not allowed to discuss age or occupation.

Couples are formed through free dates and dates in Paradise. Paradise is the opposite of Inferno. It is a luxurious island where couples enjoy room services and fun activities. In Paradise, couples are allowed to discuss age and occupations. So Paradise is the ultimate goal for contestants. The final couples are matched in the last episode, so that they can leave Inferno together.

Single’s Inferno has been ranked among Netflix’s Global Top 10 list, and production of the fourth season has been confirmed. Some of the show’s hosts are Lee Da-hee, Cho Kyu-hyun, Hong Jin-kyung and Hanhae. Popular contestants from the show include Song Ji-a, Kang So-yeon, Cha Hyun-seung, Choi Hye-seon, Yun Ha-jeong, Yu Si-eun, Lee Gwan-hee and Park Min-kyu.

Love Is Blind: Japan is based on the original American version of the same name. Hosted by Yuka Itaya and Takashi Fujii, Love Is Blind: Japan follows a group of men and women, who are introduced to one another without being able to see what they look like.

The goal is to find out if people will fall in love without meeting each other face-to-face. The couples on the show are obligated to get engaged before they actually meet. There is so far only one season of the Japanese version of Love Is Blind.

This show attempts to break free from the constraints of traditional “marriage and romance” topics by expanding its examination to a broader spectrum of young people in society. It introduces the concept of “shared living,” where young individuals with different life experiences, family backgrounds, and personal beliefs live together for 30 weeks. The show observes their daily lives and focuses on their confusion, reflections, struggles, and growth, while also attempting to address some of their common issues.
